The state of Massachusetts requires a new driver to possess a driving permit for a minimum of six months. After the six-month period the new driver can apply for a Massachusetts drivers license.
No. Some states will not recognise an out-of-state learner's permit.
The list of states you can't drive in is shorter, so I'll post those -ArizonaDistrict of ColumbiaHawaiiNew HampshirePennsylvaniaSouth CarolinaVermontYou may drive in New York State, but not New York City. Before driving in a state other than your own on a learner's permit, you need to verify with an official source that you are compliant with that state's laws for doing so.
Contact your local police.
Yes
Not by yourself, you can't.
===Maybe=== It varies on which state you are driving from. In Missouri, where I reside, you cannot drive out of state unless you have acquired your Full Driver's Licsence. Intermediate Liscenced drivers can only be out on the road IN STATE and during daylight hours only, except when traveling between work/school and the driver's place of residence. Learner's permits are required to stay with in the the city limits of where they reside(whether it be inside the limits or out of), I strongly urdge to check the State Law where you reside, before attempting to drive anywhere on a learner's permit. Connecticut - Yes. See weblink. Massachusetts - Seems to be yes. See answer to FAQ question 9 in Mass Faqs weblink
The driving distance is about 90 miles.
