What are the strengths of the constitution?

It provides the basics by which the United States government functions. The first ten amendments are the basic rights shared by all American citizens. These are called the Bill of Rights. Some basic rights that are in the Bill of Rights are: Freedom of Speech, Right to Bear Arms, Right to an Attorney, Right to a Public Trial, The Luxury of Being Innocent Until Proven Guilty, and the Freedom of Expression and Religion.
