3) Find a placement program. Many local work centers already know what local organizations employ felons. Network with other felons. What was their experience after being convicted? Where do they work?

4) I guess the best advice I can give is to think... bigger. Work for yourself. Start your own business. Whatever it is. That's one way to avoid having your criminal record investigated. (Unless the business you choose requires it at some point.)
