Department of Justice
The Department of Justice is the Executive Department primarily responsible for enforcing Federal Law. Many other departments enforce their own regulations.
The department that helps the president enforce laws is the Department of Justice (DOJ). The DOJ, led by the Attorney General, is responsible for overseeing federal law enforcement, prosecuting federal offenses, and ensuring fair administration of justice. Other departments, such as the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of the Treasury, also play key roles in enforcing specific laws related to their areas of responsibility.
The United States Department of Justice (DOJ), also known as the Justice Department, is the United States federal executive department responsible for the enforcement of the law and administration of justice, equivalent to the justice or interior ministries of other countries.
Typically both States and the Department of Justice will enforce federal law. States will enforce state law unless preempted or lack of law and allow federal law to be enforced through the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution.
