(in the US) If YOU don't pay for your own attorney (exept if indigent) WHO do you think is going to for them? The rest of the poulace = taxpayers?? The US business system is modelled on the capitlist system. People supply a service if there is a demand for it and a profit can be made by supplying the service. If attorneys weren't able to conduct business and charge a fee for their expertise, there soon would be NO MORE LAWYERS.

NOBODY works for free! Therefore: No Lawyers = no justice, equal or otherwise.
