The three branches of government are: legislative, executive, and judicial. Legislative: makes the laws Executive: carries out the laws Judicial: enforces the laws
The primary function of the government of the Philippines is to determine and enforce laws to ensure the well-being of the country and its citizens. Its has an executive branch, a legislative branch, and a judicial branch for these purposes.
That would be the executive branch of the United States government. It is their job to execute the laws passed by the legislative branch.
The three are legislative,judicial, and executive I think.

The basic function of the Legislative Branch is to enforce those laws. The Judicial Branch's basic function is to judge whether laws are unconstitutional, if not found Constitutional, they are not passed.
Congress has the power of legislative oversight, which allows it to check on how the executive branch is administering the law. Executive, legislative, and judicial are the three branches of the U.S. government.
