There is no dress code per se in most courts as long as you are covered and are wearing shoes, however the courts will look more favorably upon a person who is dressed modestly and appropriately rather than someone who shows up dirty, wearing jeans with holes and a t-shirt with a rude saying on it. You don't have to go out and buy a business suit, but take a shower, comb your hair, take it easy on the makeup if you are a female, and wear clean, appropriate clothing.
