The First Amendment added to the United States Constitution has everything to do with freedom and is still one of America's most cited amendments. The amendment defines the freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom for the press, the right to peacefully assemble and the right to make a complaint to the government without sanction.
There are a total of 27 amendments- one of which removed an earlier amendment.
two thirds majority
The question is confusing because the word 'Amendment' itself means 'change'. The Founding Fathers ratified the Constitution then added in the original 10 amendments (I thought) everybody learned about in school--the Bill of Rights. Total, there are 27 Amendments to the US Constitution. There has been only one 'change' in the Amendments, and that involves the 18th and 21st Amendments. The first enacted Prohibition, the latter repealed it.

Only the first 10 the Bill of Rights was added to the constitution as a whole, the rest came through the last 200 years. The last one was added in 1971.
The Bill Of Rights is not an article in the constitution. It consists of the first 10 amendments to the constitution. One amendment is that people can say whatever they want to (freedom of speech). However, the law has limits. You can get in trouble for saying really bad words out in public.
I dont know
The Bill of Rights are the name of the first ten amendments to the US Constitution. One important right is the freedom of speech. This is only one of the rights in the ten amendments to the US Constitution.
Yes, they do. The first ten amendments make up the bill of rights.
Many amendments have been added since the bill of rights and they protect many different rights and privileges.
There have been 27 amendments, hence 27 changes to the U.S. Constitution 27.
There is a total of 27 amendments in the constitution. The first ten are known as the Bill of Rights and were added before the Constitution was ratified by 9 of the 13 states in 1789. The rest came off and on through the years. The 13, 14, and 15 are after the civil war and they make citizens of the slaves and give the right to vote to slaves. The 19th gives women the right to vote and was added in 1920. The last one added lowered the age of voting from 21 to 18 and that was added in 1971. It was argued that if a person could fight for their country at 18 they should be able to vote as well.
