The Preppy Murder is the murder of Jennifer Levin in New York City. On an evening in August of 1986 a young woman was found in Central Park dead of unknown causes. It didn't take police long to find the responsible party. His name was Robert Chambers, a young man, clean cut and good looking, on his way up he hoped.

He claimed he accidentally killed Jennifer during 'rough sex'. He was tried and convicted but has since been paroled. But for Robert Chambers his upwardly mobile lifestyle took a downward spiral that has never recovered. Interested fact:Before his conviction Chambers

was videotaped at a party playing with dolls, mimicking Jennifer's vioce, acting out the murder. It was played at his trial and was the 'final nail in his coffin'. When the world saw that tape of Chambers being so glib about the killing, the world turned on him.
