I was facing a conviction in LA. I was cited for doing 85 in a 35. I was totally in the wrong but I couldn't face losing my license for a criminal speeding charge. I contacted Gloria, we went to trial, and I was acquitted. I kept my license and no points were accumulated.

What does it mean if a court case is stricken?

Struck out means that the case against you has been dismissed by the court. In other words the court feels that there is no case to answer,or the court after hearing the prosecution case feels that there is not sufficient evidence to try the accused, and the court finds that it's in the best interest that "the case be struck out."

Can a Supreme Court justice judge his own trial?

Absolutely not; that would be a conflict of interest and a breach of ethics that would not be permitted by the courts. If the case ever reached the US Supreme Court on appeal, and the the justice was, for some reason, still a member of the Court, he (or she) would be expected to recuse himself from participating in the case.

Has a Congressman ever been convicted by the US Supreme Court?

No. The US Supreme Court would only review a criminal case against a member of Congress (or any other citizen) under appellate jurisdiction, not as a trial court. In order for the Court to consider granting certiorari in any case, it has to involve an important question of federal or constitutional law.
