it may kill a deer if you were lucky. But it is not the best choice for hunting deer. Remember a .22 pellet is the same size slug as a regular .22 cal bullet and I would not hunt deer with a .22 cal rifle. It's just a poor choice.
No. Georgia law requires rifles or handguns used for deer to be 22 cal CENTERFIRE or larger, with an expanding bullet. While .220 Swift, or 22-250 is legal (with the right bullets) a 22 Long Rifle (rimfire) is NOT legal.
Yes.
it is legal to hunt deer with a 223 in wv but it only has to be a .25 cal for rim fire
No.

Beyond the Hunt - 2008 Nebraska Mule Deer was released on: USA: 22 July 2010
Maybe. Depends on where the deer is shot, from what distance. Much more likely to WOUND the deer- which is why in most US states, it is not legal to deer hunt with a .22 rimfire.
No. .243/6.5mm is the minimum allowed for deer in NC.
Depending on the state, .22 cal. to .400 mag. The most common deer rifle is probably the .30-06.
When you say Air Rifle you are referring to a pellet rifle not a firearm. At present there are no 300 Cal air rifle being made.
