Where did Ted Bundy place his victims?

Considering the fact the Bundy had a difficult time with the truth law enforcement has a good idea of the states where he committed his murders. Washington state, possibly Oregon, probably Idaho, Utah, Colorado, and Florida.

Although this may seem extensive for one serial killer to have killed in so many different places it is common for this type of killer to move around alot. Bundy spent so much time in his car just driving around looking for potential victims. There have been several long-haul truckers that were able to move around freely leaving a trail of bodies in their wake.

As the date for his execution grew closer, Bundy tried to bargin with police. He would tell them where more bodies were to get a stay of execution. Police thought he had enough time since he sat on Florida's death row for almost a dozen years. No deal. Bundy kept his date with 'Old Sparky' in January 1989.

We may never know for certain who Bundy chose as his first victim. Many people believe he was a 14 year old paperboy when he first commited murder. A young girl in his neighborhood disappeared from her bedroom and her body was never found. This same girl took piano lessons from Bundy's uncle and he knew her and ran into her often at her weekly lessons. After that his next may have been Lynda Ann Healy who disappeared on January 31, 1974. After Healy Bundy seemed to 'hit his stride' and girls began to disappear at an alarming rate.

Although Bundy would never confess to the killing of his young neighbor, it's ironic that his last victim, Kimberly Leach of Florida, was only 12 years old. It was in fact her murder that earned Bundy his date with the electric chair.

The states where it is certain he did kill are Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Colorado, Utah and Florida. It is possible that he also killed in California, New York, Pennsyvania and possibly other states. Bundy took the knowledge of of additional murders with him to the electric chair. We may never know the names of all of his victims.

Most of Bundy's victims were found in remote wooded areas. His last murders occurred at a sorority house with multiple victims so it would have been almost impossible for him to dispose of the bodies.
