The Phantom Killer is an unidentified serial killer. He is Texarkana's only serial killer and is credited with a number of attacks in Texarkana, Texas and Arkansas between February 22 and May 3, 1946.

Mack Ray Edwards, born in Arkansas in 1918, moved to Los Angeles in 1941 where he worked as a heavy equipment operator with Caltrans, Los Angeles county. Between the years of 1953 to 1970 Edwards killed at least 6 children. Edwards died on October 30, 1971.

There is also an unknown serial killer called the Phantom Killer from Texarkana. This killer left victims in Texarkana, Texas and Arkansas.
