They were seeking to absorb the competitive government of South Korea, which had been established by the partition of the country after World War II. The situation followed the removal of the Japanese occupying forces, and mirrored that in post-war Germany : the US and USSR supported two antagonistic factions and two states were formed. Although Germany was re-unified after the fall of European Communism, the results of Korean War (1950-1953) have thus far prevented the merging of the two Koreas.
Hitler did not invade North Korea.
It appeared the South Koreans were more fearful of the North Koreans.
China helped the North Koreans and NATO helped the South Koreans.
North Korea.
Um, North Koreans.
Red China is and was the only country that borders North Korea. China is an important trading partner to North Korea. They can make life very uncomfortable, economically for the North Koreans. Militarily, if China were to invade or otherwise attack North Korea, it is doubtful that any Western Power would do anything about it.
After WWII, Korea was divided at the 38th parallel into two hostile parts. The North part was backed by the Solviet Union and the South was backed by the United States. Shortly after this division, the North attacked the South with the goal of unifying all of Korea under communist rule. President Truman was convinced that Stalin had initiated this attack. Later, history showed that Stalin had supported the attack with advisors, but it was at the insistence of the North Koreans. In fact, a civil war had been brewing for several years in Korea. Some historians estimate that as many as 100,000 Koreans were killed in this civil war before the North invaded the South.
North Koreans what else? Comrades?
To North Koreans kinda but the Koreans can't be trusted with what Kim Jomg Il has done to his people.(Kim Jong Il is basically the owner of North Korea.)
not much. Because north korea dont let people to go out from north korea. If they try they are executed
Depends on which Korea. South Koreans have the highest average IQ in the world according to OCED. North Korea, however, probably has one of the lowest. South Koreans who have embraced democracy has come so much further than North Korea. Even look at their height comparison, South Koreans are the tallest Asians at 175cm (5'9), but North Koreans are the shortest at 166cm (5'5).
North Korea is communist, and South Korea is democratic. The Korean War had ended in a stalemate (when neither side gets a victory) so they remained split apart, and with different governments.
