This typically means that the individual has been sentenced to 90 days in jail, but the actual serving of the sentence is suspended as long as they comply with certain conditions set by the court. After one year, if the individual has met all the requirements, the charge can be discharged.
My understanding is that they have 90 days to either have you picked up or have to release you to your own recognizance.
you will do 50 if you don't try to get gain time
If it is your first offense, you probably won't have to go to jail other than the night you were cited. After your first offense the chance of jail time goes up dramatically.
The answer is 180 days in Texas and 90 days in the County in which they are filing their divorce The answer is 180 days in Texas and 90 days in the County in which they are filing their divorce
at least 90 days
I don't know where the questioner gets the "30 to 90 days" timeframe. As far as I'm aware there are no statutory timeframes for the process of extradition. As long as the legal process between the two states has begun and is progressing, then it takes as long as it takes. Moreso, especially if the extradition is being "fought' by the fugitive. Lesson to be learned? When there is a warrant for you turn yourself in and then you won't be spending weeks in someone else's jail.
