maybe in ooklahoma we can get emancipated if the need to be. Texas might be diffrent. you would have to prove you can live on oyur own and support your needs and take care of yourself also.

Well I have this issue with the non custodial parent in my situation. Not if the court has declared one the custodial parent. Until they reach adulthood, normally 18, they live where they are told to.

according to my lawyer a child can choose at 12 and in some cases at 10 but never told me what these cases may be...
you might want to contact the sheriff or police dept....but when i was 17 (30 years ago), i called and was told that at age 17 and a half, a person can leave home, and the POLICE will not retrieve them for the parent...but the parent can go and 'drag them home' if they wish......of course many many variable would apply here.....hope you can work things out honey...
Well a few months ago I had an incident with my family and the police were involved and they told em that when a child reaches the age of 16 they can move out on their own without "parental consent" So im not sure but if that's what they told me then I guess it's 16......

She broke up with you and has no interest in a relationship with you. You need to move on and let her be. It may take a some time but keep yourself busy with things that interest you, family and friends and things will get better.
