You have to get a lawyer or contact the district attorneys office to find out details. I do know however, that if you really want to do that you have to be prepared to PROVE to a judge that you are reponsible. You have to prove that you can hold a job, and pay bills by yourself. You also have to prove that you can finish school or get a G.E.D. You cant just say that you will.....you have to walk into court with PROOF.

If it's because of an abuse situation, things "might" work a little different. You need to call the district attorneys office or child protective services in that case.
