How do you keep someone away from your property and family that is harassing you?

Contact your local housin/authorities, there are rules for such behavior usually resulting in antisocial behavior warnings/charges being made.
I have a neighbor like this ,and do you know how I got him off my back?
I didnt bother to call the cops, because they really cant do anything , unless he actually assaults you or your family. As long as the city is not citing you, I KNOW how hard this is to do. BUT, IGNORE HIM!! You are not doing anything thing wrong. He has TOO much time on his hands and he wants your attention.
Calling the cops and getting stressed gives him that attention and if all he's done is threaten and its been awhile and he still hasn't done anything, he most likely wont. He's nothing but a mouth. If you ignore him don't be surprised if he tries to up the anty, keep ignoring the nut. Just think, Im an adult, Im grown, I ain't got time for this. By doing this you'll show the other neighbors what a nut case he is and when the rest of neighbors shun him, he will get the message, your not going to put up with his crap. Something is wrong in this mans head when all he has time to do is complain about every little thing you do. He's got the problem, not you. Good luck from a busy mom herself.

∙ 13y agoThere are many different kinds of annoying neighbors...Kids...Adults...Even animals! I know how to get rid of each one of them, and trust me, these ADVICE WORK! I tried them myself:
Situation: You are in the middle of something fun when a neighbor you HATE comes in the house.
Solution A: Tell them you cannot play because you are sick/doing something very, VERY important.
Solution B: Invite them in and pretend to have nothing to do or talk about and leave an akward silence, they WILL leave.
Situation: You are watching a very good but serious movie, and your neighbor comes in, you dont want to pause the movie and start a long, boring conversatioj.
Solution A: Keep watching the movie when he or she comes in and when she or she tries to saying something, keep shushing them until they leave.

∙ 12y agoHarassment has nothing to do with sexual orientation. If anyone is harassing you or your family, you need to contact the authorities. Get a restraining order or go to the police.
