In "real" life judges are bound to follow the rule of law, conduct trials and hearings in accord with all applicable laws and statutes, determine points of the law when th;ey arise, and act with decorum in conducting their court. On movies and TV, judges are merely characters in a script written and performed for entertainment purposes. (i.e- Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown, etc...) How they "act" has no bearing whatsoever to real life, they are merely 'playing parts.'

In real life, judges are impartial decision-makers responsible for interpreting the law, ensuring a fair trial, and upholding justice. In movies or on television, judges are often portrayed with dramatic flair, bending the rules for entertainment purposes and sometimes overstepping their proper judicial role for the sake of the plot. This unrealistic portrayal can create misconceptions about the actual duties and limitations of judges in a courtroom setting.

How do rights and responsibilities differ?

Rights refer to the entitlements or freedoms that individuals have, such as the right to freedom of speech or the right to healthcare. Responsibilities, on the other hand, are the duties or obligations that individuals have towards society or others, such as the responsibility to follow laws or to respect the rights of others. While rights focus on what individuals are entitled to, responsibilities focus on what individuals are expected to do.

How do laws and theories differ?

Laws are statements or descriptions of observable phenomena that have been repeatedly confirmed and are accepted as true. Theories, on the other hand, explain why these laws hold true by providing a framework of understanding and predicting natural phenomena. In essence, laws describe what happens, while theories explain why and how it happens.
