IQ, or Intelligence Quotient, scores are based on how well you perform on a test in comparison to those who have similar qualifications or attributes, i.e., age, education, etc. Since IQ scores are "normed", the average person will score within one standard deviation (+/- 10) of the "normal" score, which is 100. As you age and gain education, experience, etc., it takes more "intelligence" to maintain a score of 100. For example, if a 7-year-old, a 14-year-old, and a 21-year-old took the same IQ test and answered all of the questions in the same amount of time with the exact same answers, the 7-year-old would score higher than the 14-year-old, who would outscore the 21-year-old. So, to answer your question, 101 for a 14-year-old is an average, or normal, score.
