No. My guns are completely painted. In the U.S. it is legal to paint your gun. However, it is illegal to have the gun in sight in a public setting other than the arena where you play, or on your property. If anyone sees it they will think you have a real weapon and you will be treated as such. Keep the guns in a bag or case until you reach your field or house.
yes it is a federal law so it is a law for all states. the law also states that the police can confiscate an illegal airtsoft gun. now i live in PA and I have never heard this happen if you where following rules and regs. like playing whee allowed etc. but it is a federal law so technically they can take our stuff
Paint it what color? Many jurisdictions have laws stating that non-lethal weapons must be painted or manufactured in a bright color and they must not be painted or altered, or made to appear, as if they are genuine firearms. In addition, common-sense should tell you that it is dangerous to possess, carry, or display non-lethal weapons made to look as if they were real. In an unintentional confrontation situation, as unfortunate as it may sound, if you appear armed, police officers are trained to use deadly force first and ask questions afterwards.
no but it is really stupid some kid in calafornia did hat and the cops thought it was real and shot him!
You will need to contact the RCMP for a correct, current and legal answer.
it depends on what shift you work and where. my uncle who works 3rd Shift as a security guard at the Mall has a 350 FPS Glock Style Airsoft pistol .
They aren't illegal in Tennessee, and as far as I know, they are not illegal in any other U.S. state.
They look real, and you can be charged with a crime if you use one in a crime. Do not carry any airsoft concealed unless you have a concealed carry permit. Even then, just get a real pistol. You can get shot by a cop or someone else if you pull a concealed weapon and pretend it is real. Do us airsofters all a favor and do not give the sport a bad name by pretending to be a gangster when you are just a wannabe.
yes
You can spray paint whatever u want on it, but it is considered illegal if you spray over the orange tip of the gun.
it is not illegal as long as you don't paint over the orange tip. federal law requires that it be there so the cops don't shoot you thinking you have a real gun.
its illegal
No.
Depends on the law where YOU live- but it is a BAD idea everywhere. They are made clear, and/or with an orange tip, so that police officers know that it is NOT a real gun. Paint it black, and you may get to see a REAL gun. Very bad idea.
No. If you are 18 you may purchace an airsoft gun without a lisence.
April 2010, and It was an Airsoft gun.
yes, in airsoft fields
The state of Illinois does not allow you to use and handle airsoft guns publicly. However, you may still own, sell, or buy an airsoft gun.
I'm sorry to say but airsoft is illegal in Australia.
Yes, a convicted felon can own and airsoft gun and/or a BB gun. It is a real gun that convicted felons cannot own, in which this would be illegal.
Yes it is illegal in all of America.
