well that's a very difficult question to answer, as alochol is bad for you (in deep quantities) and should not be drunk as such. but peoples time and energy should also be put in other areas. banning alchohol would not exactly stop people from drinking it. murder is illegal, is it not, and we still have hundreds of people going to jail each week for commiting it. so a better way, in my opinion, is to teach children while they are young the dangers of alchohol, and hope and pray that they do not make mistakes with it, do not become its victim.
