Earth's principal biological systems are being depleted due to human activities such as deforestation, habitat destruction, pollution, overfishing, and climate change. These activities are disrupting the balance of ecosystems, leading to loss of biodiversity, degradation of soil and water quality, and decline in essential ecosystem services. This depletion poses a significant threat to the health of the planet and all living organisms.
