there are many advantages according to ones point of view

1. since it is all written down it provides easy access. so it makes it easy for one to know their rights.

2. Entrenched Laws- there are certain provisions that are fixed safeguarding them from interference by the Government of the day.

3. it is hard to change, so limiting the power of the government ( this can also be a disadvantage)

They are clearly laid out. Any citizen can then go and read the laws. This gives everyone the opportunity to know what conduct is acceptable in their society. It is considered fair to allow everyone to see that the laws are consistant.
