There is NO SUCH THING as a written down, codified, "Common Law." It is a generalized description of 'laws' that have developed and been applied throughout recorded history to the people, societies, and cultures that existed up to modern times. Much present-day law is based on common law, but there are no written down wordings of common law available to see or research.

Common law is the system of laws originated and developed in England and based on court decisions made regionally by judges when deciding individual cases rather than on codified laws. The doctrines implicit in those cases were/are relied on as precedents and followed in subsequent cases based on the same legal issues. Common law changes over time and is sometimes codified. An example is probate law which is ancient common law that has been codified.
