A standing vote is a procedure used in both the House of Representatives and the Senate that involves members standing in order to cast their votes. These votes are not recorded.
If you are already standing in line when the polls are supposed to close, you will STILL be allowed to vote. You will be allowed to still vote, no matter how long the process takes. However, if you arrive after the polls have closed, even though there is a long line of people waiting, you may not be allowed to vote. You must already be in line before the announced closure of that polling place.
Floor votes can be taken by voice vote, where members verbally express their position; division, where members physically move to designated areas; roll call, where each member's vote is individually recorded; and electronic voting systems, where members can vote using electronic devices.
Gaining the right to vote is called enfranchisement.

No you don't. You just need to know what you are standing for. You can be a democrate or a republician and you believe what you wish. But you don't have to be a decocrate to vote in a democratic election. You have the right to vote no matter what you believe so take advantage of it!
Generally, yes..... but it will depend on the rules / standing orders of the particular committee or organisation.
