idk but im 13 and i get them all the time. no i do not smoke weed or ciggs, me and my friends just like to turn them into flamethrowers and make fires lol. i just walk into 7-Eleven and buy one usually if the guy is foreign it helps because they just say "akkkayyy that will be one dolla and da fifty cent. no cigarettes fwa u doh!" but the people from the country u r in are more strict and ask "Where are your parents" and stuff. if u rlly want one and they wont let u get one just say "my brother just got home from Afghanistan and he wanted me to get him a lighter and i live just down the road"

∙ 12y agoyoy can be any age to buy a lighter, i bought a Zippo just the other day with no questions asked. I asked for the zippo and the lady told me the price and i walked away with it in my hand. no questions asked
Another View: there is no indication that the above answer came from a WA state resident. Lighters contain flammable gases and propellant which can be "huffed." In MANY states their purchase is restricted to adults. Whether this is the case in WA, or not, why don't you just call your local police and ask.
