I don't know if there is any legal age but I'm 13 and my parents leave me at home. Only do it if
1: you feel safe about it and
2: your child is responsible
My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: LOUISIANA My question is: Why are answer's given on this site "not" verified first? I must say that I am VERY disappointed in the answers given to 17 yr olds on here by Senior Members. Every State is different. Louisiana may be 18 for the age of majority BUT, it is 17 for the age of license. As a legal term of art, "license" means "permission", and it can implicate a legally enforceable right or privilege. I know FROM experience that the age is 17! I live in Louisiana and I left home at 17 and my father called the police. But the police told my father and I that they could do NOTHING. I am 50 now, but I recently in the last month called the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Dept and asked what was the legal age in the State of Louisiana for a child to leave home and it is STILL 17. So, please check with the police dept in each state to find out the legal age someone can leave home. Some of these kids have good reason's for wanting to move out and they need to be told the correct answer. If for some reason that you doubt what I say, then please feel free to call the sheriff dept at 225-389-5000 and they will confirm what I say.
Eighteen in bars and restaurants, although in the home most local kids enjoy a glass of wine with dinner at a much younger age.
Its not against the law...especially if the school asks you to leave your cell phones at home or in your locker or w.e but they shouldn't be able to search you for it unless they have probable cause so a teacher just says hey ima search you for your cell phone you politely decline and say i don't have one :)
Probably not, but she may turn the child over to child services if the child is unmanageable. Most parents would choose to keep their children close and at home. However, that does not mean that the parent has to go above and beyond when the child is abusive, involved in illegal activities--generally when being in the home is doing no one any good. It stands to reason that both parties have to take the responsibility to make home life work--most teenagers know what they have to do. I do not feel that the child is automatically entitled to be provided for if they cannot cope or manage the system. Even kids who must leave for safety need to do so on their own.
Parents who leave their children unattended in a car can face legal consequences such as being charged with child endangerment, neglect, or even manslaughter if the child is harmed or dies as a result. Penalties can range from fines to criminal charges depending on the severity of the situation and the laws in the specific jurisdiction.

Kids can leave the home when they reach the age of 18 in most states.
Leave the kids at home.
You must get help from a lawyer or a legal aid. He can not prevent you from taking the kids but you will have to share custody. If you leave and take the kids, he will have to pay child support. Again seek legal help. Things are a little different in different states.
yes kids should have responsibilities at home because they will have to do that when the get older and get their own house and kids.
Yes, as long as they are no longer minors.
Lowes and Home Depot (along with a variety of other home retailer stores) all sell kids wallpapers as well as wallpaper for the rest of an individuals home.
