To begin drinking alcohol, the minimum age is 16, but this is to drink beer and wine. For liquor, you must be at least 18 years of age. There are no laws governing the hours it can be sold, but you must be at least 16 and accompanied by an adult to buy it, at age 18you are free to buy alone. Despite relaxed laws, you cannot have open containers in the street. Alcoholic Beverages are for sale at liquor stores and supermarkets. Supermarkets only sell beer, wine, and alcoholic beverages with and alcohol percentage up to 13 percent.
