Law is necessary for a regulated society. Just imagine how many lives would be lost if we didn't have control on drugs or how many people would get killed and the criminals would get away with it if we didn't have a criminal justice system. Imagine the danger and chaos if drivers got to choose where they could drive to and on what side of the street they could drive on. These are just some examples of what would happen if we didn't have the necessary basic laws.
There would be fewer crimes. The vast number of laws that exist today cannot be remembered by anyone. If something is not against the law it cannot be considered a crime. Many corporate and tax laws would not exist for instance.Another view:There would be more crimes. depends which way you look at it. Laws against shoplifting, rape, murder, etc. would not exist. That means more shoplifting, more rape, more murders, and few kids in school. There would also be no policemen. It all depends on which way you look at it.
If a state were able to override a federal law, it would create a situation of legal conflict and confusion. This could lead to inconsistencies in how laws are applied within the country, potentially undermining the effectiveness of the federal legal system and threatening national unity.
Without laws, there would likely be chaos, as there would be no formal system in place to regulate behavior and resolve disputes. People may act in self-interest without regard for the well-being of others, leading to potential conflict, violence, and an overall breakdown of society. Laws help establish order, protect individual rights, and provide a framework for a functioning society.
Those caught stealing from the Incas could face severe punishments such as death, enslavement, or harsh physical punishments. The Incas enforced strict laws to protect their property and resources.
A world without laws would likely be chaotic and unsafe. There would be no rules governing behavior, leading to potential harm, violence, and exploitation. Without laws to provide structure and order, society would struggle to function effectively.
It would depend on the severity of the disobedience.
it would be considered breaking the laws
Children would be working in sweatshops and nobody would have a living wage.

That would depend on where you park it - different countries have different laws, even different cities have different laws.
If the state laws had more power than federal laws the Constitution would have little to no power.
Then the laws of physics would be broken. An impossibility.
It is not possible, should such a thing happen then it would violate one of the basic laws of the universe. There is always waste in one form or another.
Jews who eat non-kosher food are in violation of the laws of their religion.
It depends on which people and which historical period. Different peoples have/had different laws.
We really don't make laws. Our justice system is based on custom and common law. You don't need to create new laws in order for society to function.
That would be quite a radical change; many other laws of physics we are accustomed to would then no longer be valid, either.
