It depends on the specific school and classroom policies. In some cases, Maori children may be encouraged to speak Maori in the class, especially in schools that prioritize Maori language revitalization. In other cases, there may be restrictions or a focus on speaking English. It ultimately varies and depends on the individual school's approach to language education.
In 'Listen to your Child' by David Crystal, a study was carried out by Klaus Wagner concluded that the German children used in the study spoke on average 20,000 to 30,000 words a day, from as early as their third year of life. (German compound words can be equivalent to 6 or 7 English words, so this figure would probably increase in English-speaking children)
TESOL stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. It refers to a field of study and a profession that focuses on teaching English as a second or foreign language. With a TESOL certification, individuals are equipped to teach English to non-native speakers in various settings, such as language schools, universities, or private tutoring.
Sure! Most kids in other countries learn more than one language, so why not learn french! It might be difficult to find anyone who would speak french with you if you were on a trip and didn't know anyone in Australia...Perhaps researching french clubs in Australia would be helpful to find areas where people will speak french.

Yes, English is taught in most Chinese schools. Sometimes, the kids only learn English when they enter high school. Unlike us, they only learn quite little since their teachers are not as good at saying English. We have Spanish and French teachers that often speak fluent French or Spanish in their house. This is probably Chinese kids that come from Asia might not speak English that clearly.

. No because kids need time to well, be kids! I'm not saying kids should not learn but if they sit around in class yearound they will get bored and not pay attention. And lets face it , do teachers even have enough things to teach, what are teachers going to teach all that time? Also, think about the teachers, don't teachers have families or pets to be with?!
No. Are kids in the US required to learn to speak Spanish? Neither.
