One of the key benefits of the European Union (EU) is the freedom of movement it provides to its citizens. This allows people to travel, work, and study in different EU countries without facing many of the barriers that existed before the EU was formed. Additionally, the EU promotes cooperation and unity among its member states, leading to increased economic opportunities and political stability in the region.

"eu" is the past participle of "avoir" so, literally, je t'ai eu means "I had you" or "I've had you". It is an expression used to tease someone after you trick them, similar to the English expression, "Got you!" If you like, you can say "je t'ai bien eu", sort of like "I got you good".

Apart from the UK, if your a citizen of the EU you can pass freely through each other's borders without passport control (Like passing from state to state in America). There is freedom to work in any EU country. The UK does have border control, though if your from the EU they don't take it as seriously compared to if you're from outside the EU.
Other EU countries, EU Institutions and others will step in to help by doing things like providing loans. The EU tries to ensure that does not happen, particularly in light of the recent problems some EU countries have had during the economic crisis that has been happening in recent years.
