The longest word in the world is somewhenotodayoun...gown, it contains 3,609,750 letters (810 pages) and means the current day or date between real and imaginable today. The word was coined by writer Nigel Tomm in his book The Blah Story, Volume 19.
its short name is titin (can't be bothered to find it typed out somewhere or type it out myself) but it is a large abundant protein of striated muscle in the body.
