Has and have are both used in the present indicative tense of the verb 'to have'. Has is used for the third person singular only.

  1. I have we have
  2. you have you have
  3. he/she has they have

Have is also used as an auxiliary verb to produce more complicated tenses of other verbs, and even itself. These get a bit tricky, but the golden rule is still 'has' for third person singular only.
