Indolence should not be considered the cause of backwardness among Filipinos because it oversimplifies complex historical, social, and economic factors that have contributed to the country's development. There are systemic issues such as colonial history, unequal wealth distribution, and lack of infrastructure that have a bigger impact on the country's progress than attributing it to indolence. It's important to address these larger structural issues rather than resorting to stereotypes.
The stereotype of the "indolent Filipino" overlooks broader factors such as historical oppression, colonialism, and socio-economic disparities that have limited opportunities for many Filipinos. It also fails to recognize the resilience, resourcefulness, and hard work that many Filipinos demonstrate in various fields globally. Therefore, attributing perceived backwardness solely to indolence is reductionist and unjust.
Filipinos need to develop values such as patriotism, respect for diversity, a sense of community, and civic responsibility to have a strong sense of nationhood. Embracing these values can help foster unity, inclusivity, and a shared commitment to the well-being of the nation.
It is not appropriate or fair to compare two ethnic groups and determine one is "better" than the other. Both Filipinos and Hispanics have rich cultures and diverse populations, and should be respected and appreciated for their unique contributions to society.
Filipinos should be proud of the Philippines for its rich culture, beautiful natural landscapes, resilient people, and vibrant history. The country's diverse traditions, delicious cuisine, and warm hospitality contribute to its unique identity and make it a source of pride for its citizens.
Filipinos are created to be beautiful and gorgeous because of their tan skin, small nose, brown eyes, black hair and light weight. Many western countries envied their tan skin that they did a lot of sunbathing. Filipinos have also proven that they are one of the beautiful people of the world. There are Filipina beauty queens like Margie Moran, Gloria Diaz, Shamcey Supsup to name a few.

They were robbed. Just after WWII the country was very successful. Filipinos were robbed of their economic success by Marcos. He established a corrupt and inefficient government and he took billions of dollars out of the economy for his own use. It is well tested that corruption is one of the most damaging forces working against economic growth.
Why react at all when you know it is not true? Filipinos are not insolent at all. In fact, with the abundant natural resources Philippines have, it should have been one of the richest country. All the problems are within the way Philippines is being governed; lack of support from the government, corruption and immoral leadership of most of the officials.
The Philippines is considered as a republican and a democratic state. The Government Authority believes the sovereignty is what Filipinos should think and that the government is the one in control.
no yes, they saved our lives and we should thank them___________________<3
My experience with Filipinos has been that they are very friendly people. This would be a good trait in a salesman. A Filipino salesman working with non-Filipinos needs to realize that he should not expect the level of friendlyness he may be used to and not view that as rejection.
i heard of one pinoyborn.com . I think should be it
