Oh HELL YES! I was using a brand new pair of expensive tennis shoes in the dryer to keep the sheets from rolling up. I did this several times and when I finally got around to putting them on they had shrunk nearly a full size. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get them back to their original size.
Any dryer that has a low-knits or no heat setting is best to not shrink clothes.
No the cotton will not shrink in your dryer
To shrink tennis shoes, you can try using heat. One method is to wear thick socks and then put on the shoes, using a hairdryer on a low setting to evenly heat the material, which can help it conform to your feet. Alternatively, you can dampen the shoes slightly with water and then use the dryer for a few minutes. Always be cautious with the heat to avoid damaging the shoes.
Yes, you should be able to. Some dryers will have a dryer rack that will prevent the shoes from tumbling around and making unnecessary noise. If you are still unsure, then you cant go wrong with just leaving them out in the sun (although make sure it doesn't rain!)
To shrink clothes in the dryer, wash the item in hot water and then place it in the dryer on the highest heat setting. Keep an eye on the item as it dries and remove it once it has reached the desired size. Be aware that not all fabrics will shrink in the dryer, so it's recommended to check the care label before attempting to shrink the clothes.
A dryer usually works, throw it in for a few minutes or better and easier hair dryer
YES!!!
It wont shrink
from my experience, any cotton shrinks in the dryer. I have washed laundry for years, and I always buy a larger size tee cause i know it will shrink.
no because it has protein and fiber made by a silk worms cacoon, so it does not shrink..
Your Diesel jeans won't shrink at all if you dry them.
Almost any pair of denim will shrink if you put them in the dryer. But wet them first.
