If it is an external U lock here is how i change mine:1. Enter the current combination 2. Unlock and spin the U bolt 180 degrees from the closed position 3. Press and hold down the U bolt 4. While holding down the blot, enter a new combination. BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO RELEASE THE U BOLT 5. Once desired combination has been entered, release the U bolt and try to open and close it. If is opens and closes freely, close it and chnage 1 number to see if it locks. If it does, you should be good.
