Open the bag, unzip the back liner, push in the little pin to release the handle. Chances are the plastic piece within the handle cracked and it is only pushing the rod down on one side.
Take apart the handle. The spring piece is plastic and sadly, probably cracked and not pushing the medal rod properly.....just figured out that was the problem with my stuck handle. Trying to now find a handle to just replace the broken one.
