Alison is red coat. Alison isn't dead. Let me explain : Alison had a twin sister named Courtney. Courtney was mental & she has always wanted be Ali. When she was supposed to be sent off to Radley, she switched places with Alison. Her parents didn't know. Alison got sent to radley. You've never heard of her because the DiLaurentis's don't want to ruin their reputation. So they don't speak of her like she's not apart of the family. So after Alison got sent to Radley as Courtney, Courtney pretended to be Alison. After that, you know she became friends with Aria, Hanna, Spencer, & Emily. She only acted so cruel, secretive, mysterious, & wierd because she was mental. So after Alison got out of Radley she sent "-A" messeges to Courtney as revenge plus she was very angry that she was sent to Radley when she wasn't suppose to. Afterwards, she killed Courtney who everyone thought was Alison. And, now she is torturing Hanna, Spencer, Aria, Emily. I don't know why though. I think being in Radley made her mentally ill. I guess we'll have to find out why.There are 2 redcoats , in season 1 when you saw a hand come up from the ground it was alison's hand and the old house mother from the college spencer and emily went to was the one pulling her hand so alison is alive and is one of the red coats she's good.
