Louis Vuitton would be better than Gucci in terms of canvas quality. Louis Vuitton is not good in leather making. Their leather has not been specially treated to the best quality for lasting. Louis Vuitton seems to be lack of technology in treating their leather, that is why their leather does not last.

But on the other hand, Louis Vuitton's canvas has a far better quality than GUCCI. The canvas of Louis Vuitton bag has a subtle feel. Their canvas materials are soft, flexible, and also durable while GUCCI's canvas bags are like an amateur product. They won't last and very sensitive to wears and tears.

I tend to prefer Gucci's products simply because of their high quality leather bags as opposed to Louis Vuitton's cheap looking canvas.

Gucci is more adapted to young people as well due to their new designs and constant changes in models as well as logos, compared with Louis Vuitton. However, that is what I don't like because it encourage counterfeiter to replicate GUCCI's product.

Now GUCCI replica products are everywhere, it became harder and harder to tell. People don't feel distinctly when buying an authentic Gucci bag for several thousand dollars vs one paying $50 for a Gucci replica. Too sad!
