Freight collect
In air freight terms it would mean Freight Payable at Destination. Not at all sure how that ties in with Aerospace since those at the destination of aerospace deliveries are usually not in any position to pay the huge freight costs!
The collect billing of lading is paid by the consignee at the destination. In case the freight is moved through a freight forwarder, the goods will be collected by the freight forwarder at destination after paying the freight charges. The same will then be billed to the consignee at destination.
The abbreviation FOB means Free on Board. That means freight and insurance have not been taken into consideration while calculating export pricing. In fact under FOB shipment, the freight is payable by the buyer at destination. Insurance coverage is arranged before hand by the buyer.
No information was found for destination. FOB destination is an acronym for Freight on Board or Free on Board.
Freight shipping and freight forwarding is the transport of freight and cargo from one destination to another. This could be nationwide or worldwide.
As to freight paid as per charter-party it generally mean that freight is payable at the rate mentioned in the charter-party. So the difference is that advance freight is the freight paid in advace and freight paid as per c/p is a phrase in B/L (bill of lading) referring to rate and way of payment of freight (i.e. to which bank, by money transfer or in cash, within how many working days, etc.)
Free On Board Destination (FOB Destination). This means that the seller pays the the freight costs from the shipping point to the buyer's final destination.
A freight charge or freight rate is the price set to transport a specific cargo or freight from one destination to another. The freight charge depends on what type of cargo is being shipped, which type of transportation will be used (ship, train, truck, airplane), the distance to the delivery destination, and the weight of the cargo. Freight shipping companies can coordinate all aspects of the cargo transportation while providing a competitive price for freight shipping.
It meams that the freight will be prepaid but not at country of origin of goods and yes at another country. For exemple the prepaid freight payment, can be made at destination of the goods.
FOB Destination
