The Blue Heeler (or Australian Cattle Dog) should not be cropped if it is to be shown professionally, as the ears should be natural according to the official Breed Standard. There is no correct answer for this one. You could say somewhere between the lab and chow, but I've seen many mixes that looked like pure bread animals. Sometimes only an experienced person can really tell, and to be honest, a mixed breed can (sometimes) make a better pet (The breeders will hate me for that one). 30+ years with chow chows has taught me that Chows can be very hard headed and mean (protective) animals. Mixing with a lab can produce many good qualities. You can train a chow to fetch your neighbors dog a lot quicker than a ball.
there is a funnel you put around his neck to stop this.
You dont. Ears are cropped. They SHOULD be done by a vet. You can look at this website, it talks about the care, and how cropping is done.
If a dobermans ears are pointy it means the dog has has surgery (cropping) done for their ears to stand and be pointy. A doberman is born with floppy ears and a long tail, but often get surgery to stand the ears and make the tail short.
Not if your vet did it if it looks bad take to the vet and have them checked
