All Dog Breeds are good with people, but some dogs are better with children or large groups of people, than others.
You need to evaluate an individual dog, and not assume that it will be great with all people, no matter the breed description. There are LOTS of dogs that do not follow their breed descriptions, due to poor breeding or poor socialization (or both). All dogs, no matter the breed, benefit from training from a young age.
same as all dogs

Yes, Labrador Retrievers are recognized by all major kennel clubs and are therefore allowed in shows.
Rottweilers and Labrador Retrievers both have short, glossy coats but they are different colours. Rottweilers are always black with tan markings, and Labradors can be all black, all blonde (yellow) or all brown (chocolate).
The Labrador Retriever is a breed itself. They come in black, yellow, chocolate and silver which is not a recognized color according to most breed standards. A list of all Retrievers is as follows: Retriever, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Curly Coated Retriever, Flat Coated Retriever, Golden Retriever, Labrador Retriever, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling
A change in diet, or a poor diet, is the most common cause of diarrhea in all dogs.
With little or no grooming, labs will shed a lot. If they are brushed or combed every day they will not shed so much
Labrador Retrievers make up a significant portion of guide dogs, with estimates suggesting they account for around 50-60% of all guide dogs used. Their intelligence, trainability, and friendly disposition make them ideal candidates for this role. Other breeds, such as Golden Retrievers and German Shepherds, are also commonly used, but Labradors remain the most popular choice.
A "silver" Labrador is dilute or lighter shade of a chocolate lab. In any case, no kennel club officially recognizes "silver" as a legitimate color for Labrador retrievers, so beware spending a large amount of money on a dog where the seller claims otherwise. In many cases, a silver Labrador Retriever is severely penalized if not disqualified from shows.
If training is started young, dogs such as Labrador retrievers can be trained not to bark. This is done for guide dogs when barking would disorient a blind person.
these colors usually only apply to labrador retrievers. if the puppy has all black fur, than he is a black lab, if he has all brown fur than he is a chocolate lab.
Yes, Labrador Retrievers tend to sleep a lot, typically around 12 to 14 hours a day. They are known for their friendly and playful nature, but like all dogs, they need ample rest to recharge. Puppies and older Labradors may sleep even more, as they require additional rest for growth and recovery. Regular exercise helps them maintain a healthy sleep schedule.
