Are female pigs nicer or male pigs are nicer?

If you mean to humans I would say it depends on the individual guinea pig. Either can be very sweet and friendly (I know from experience).

If you mean with other guinea pigs females definitely females. The exceptions are if you have a male and a female that are both fixed then they can become good friends and some books say you can keep two males together if they are brothers (that have been together since they were born) but I would say that is a little risky because there is more chance they will not get along.

I would describe a Guinea Pig as "a fat hamster with a slightly longer face" and you could add that the mouth us much lower then what you think. (i'm looking at 2 of them right now) they itch like dogs sometimes and are persistent. they have a tail about 3cm long or shorter you can barley see it. i love them.

I say guinea's are really nice . Males tend to fight with one another Females on the other hand are peacful and really if they are sisters are have grown up with one another sense they were babies. So i would say females!

I've had 2 male guinea pigs and they were GREAT! they loved to play. Girls are good but i had to watch my friends 3 girl guinea pigs one summer and they were'nt very active and they didnt really like to play. They bit a LOT to. I suggest getting a boy. But with guinea pigs you cant really go wrong. I hope this was helpful!

Well, guinea pigs, gerbils, and hamsters can die from loneliness, so either get 2 females, or, if you want to start with 2 then get more, get 1 male 1 female. Males, they'll just fight all day and all night long.

Male g.pigs are supposed to be more social/friendly than females so it depends on which g.pigs you fall in love with when viewing them.

Remember male g.pigs can start breeding from like 10 weeks old I remember being told but female g.pigs shouldn't be bred until about a year old.

Male Guinea pigs are better in my opinion, but they tend to fight if not brought up together. Female guinea pigs are to hormonal. I would suggest getting two guinea pigs at the same time. Mine are brothers named thunder and lightning.
