If they are introduced properly (as in not thrown in a cage together, but letting them sniff each other and play around a little bit) they should get along great with smaller dogs, and even other pets (yes, even cats. My Schnauzer Buddy loves Kitty Kitty!!)!!!!
All three Schnauzer breeds (Miniature, Standard and Giant) are related to the German Pinscher. The German Pinscher is the ancestor of the Miniature Pinscher and both the Miniature Schnauzer and the Standard Schnauzer are essentially wire-hair versions of the Miniature and German Pinschers. The Doberman came after all the other Pinschers and Schnauzers and while some German Pinscher blood was used to create the breed so were many other breeds such as the Weimaraner, Rottweiler, possibly the Great Dane (which is a German breed) and possibly the Greyhound and other breeds and mutts as well. The Giant Schnauzer was created by crossing Standard Schnauzers, German Poodles, Bouvier des Flanders, Great Danes and various rough coated sheep dogs and drover dogs. The German Pinscher and the Standard Schnauzer are the oldest, with artwork as late as the 1400's depicting German dogs that had similar looks to these 2 breeds. Both the German Pinscher and Standard Schnauzer, along with the Miniature Pinscher and Miniature Schnauzer became official breeds in the late 1800's. In developing the Standard Schnauzer (and subsequintly the Miniature Schnauzer) from the German Pincher the German Poodle was probably used too.
yes
Miniature Schnauzer, toy poodle, Pomeranian, beagles, Chihuahua, Golden retriever, and of course yorkies!!
Yes, because they get along great with any animal!
A Doberman, a German shepherd, a boxer, a Toyger cat, an ocicat and a domestic short hair cat can probably get along if they are raised together and trained well.
Depends if their ruff, or not.I'm guessing if they just love to play and the older Schnauzer is calm, nothing happens.
As long as he isn't a tormentor and they get along well.
i recommend a Schnauzer of some sort they come in miniature, standard and giant they have a brilliant temperament and are non aggressive and get along with kids and other dogs famously! and they don't shed!
A German Shepherd can keep the same pace a lot longer than human. If a person can run an hour non stop so can a German Shepherd, easily. That articular breed just wouldn't stop out of tiredness, they would run along side their master as they would in the wild after their alpha.
If you raise a Cheetah cat, a toyger cat, a boxer, a doberman and a German shepherd from early puppy and kitten hood, they will most likely get along. This can depend on the personality of the animals though.
i don't think so, German shepherd is a breed that makes the 2 best guard dog, so i recommended you if you buy a bulldog or a German sheperd, NEVER buy a German sheperd with a bulldog, they might tear each other into pieces. But it is up to you, that was just my warning, the choice is yours.
It depends on the individual animals and most particularly on how they are raised (socialized).
