As long as he isn't a tormentor and they get along well.
A female canine has a 9 week gestation period. The breed does not matter.
Whether or not a Rottweiler and a German Shepherd can stay in a kennel together depends on each dog. If they are both easy going and neither one tries to be dominant, there should not be a problem.
The German Shepherd keeps young ones close by. Also the puppies stay in one place because once born the puppy is blind. Also if the puppy goes too far the mother will pick up the puppy by biting the extra skin and lifting up thr baby puppy.
Stay away from negative dogs towards others such as Presa Canaria's and Cane Corso's and maybe Akita's and Rotweilers but another Lab or Shepherd or even a mix would work well :)
Not really. Some of mine stay right by me, even sitting or lying on my feet. Others just want to stay in the same room and check in periodically. Each is an individual. As a breed, however, German Shepherds do have a strong sense of loyalty and a high pack drive. A mentally sound one won't be distressed if you leave them, but will generally prefer to be in your company when given the opportunity.
"The more things change, the more they stay the same"
German Shepherds stay in heat for 12 - 13 days and come into heat twice a year on average.
Yes, of course they should be played with, but as with all dogs, ONLY with permission from the owner. Mentally sound dogs love to play and all dogs need daily exercise. German Shepherds are intelligent and athletic dogs who need vigorous mental and physical play to stay healthy. My German Shepherds love to play fetch, hide-and-seek, finding hidden toys, splashing in the pool or in spray from the hose, and they love to do tricks. =Other contributors have said:= * A lot of people believe that German Shepherds are mean dogs, but they are only mean or dangerous if they are abused or trained to be that way. So yes, you can play with a German Shepherd, but its best to make sure that it wasnt abused or trained to be mean. Also just to add a fact, if it is a mother or is scared, its best to stay way from that GSD
It depends if you want something quite then I prefer rabbit but if you want something which you can play with then I prefer a puppy as rabbit would usually run away from you but the dogs will stay with you i had a bunny he died and i still have a german shepherd
It needs as much sleep as it can get the breed of dog you have is very active and big meaning it needs as much sleep as we humans get because it has to keep its muscles well rested so it can stay active
No. There are no animals that stay young. Everything ages.
