You should never give a dog a medication that is intended for a human, and sleeping pills for a puppy is an extremely dangerous idea. Depending on the type of sleeping pill and the size of the puppy, the effect could be at least a very sick puppy and at worst a dead puppy. As a pet owner you have a responsibility to protect your puppy from harm, and this would certainly harm him and would be considered animal abuse. If you want your puppy to sleep well, take him for a nice long walk.
There are no known drug interactions between certrizine (Zyrtec) and the birth control pill.
I think so. Well, any poo will harm your puppy as it is not to be eaten.
Not sure what all side affects may be but when I take Zyrtec I start to cough. I recommend you take Claritin or the pill form of claritin: loratadine.
Throwin it on the ground
Please DO NOT give a puppy human medication. It can harm the puppy.
It is a 10 mg pill of Cetirizine, a generic form of the 2nd generation antihistamine commonly marketed under the name Zyrtec.
Zyrtec-D is typically a white, elliptical or oval-shaped pill with "ZC" printed on one side and "12" on the other. It contains cetirizine and pseudoephedrine as active ingredients. Always check the packaging for specific details, as appearances may vary by manufacturer or formulation.
Depends entirely on what the pill was made of.
You can use vegetable oil to remove sticky tags from a puppy's paw. This is a safe and effective method and will not harm your puppy if ingested.
You should not do so. If you are concerned, take the puppy to a vet; you will probably do more harm than good by poking around on your puppy's eyes.
My puppy accidentally ate a 25mg prednisone. What can I do ?
