Yes.Chihuahuas can live in Alaska.But they must get a fur in-plant even if they are a long-haired chihuahua.Also you must get your Chihuahua a lot of Special Double-Layered pet clothing.Examples:Dog coats,shirts,tights,booties,and on the coats they very well should have fur-topped hoods.And even though your Chihuahua will get a fur in-plant at really harsh winters they will still need the specific dog padded and layered clothing.
