Yes...They can have chew-able. ( I have given them to my own dogs. I use to work in a kennel & have given medications to both dogs & cats.)

Dogs are given a lot of the same medications we take. They normally give dogs, children dosages. They are given the same Antibiotics that we take.

BUT, I wouldn't give them the gummy ones, as they will have trouble chewing them, plus they will get stuck to their teeth & their gums. And maybe hard to digest. ( It maybe amusing to us to watch them try & chew them, but, it's not a good idea!)

Like any medications, you have to know their weight & age, like you would with a child.

And.. I would always ask your Vet. before giving your dog any medications. Just like you would ask your child's doctor about giving your children chew- able.

Different breeds may not be able to have them. Vitamins can be hard to digest & cause stomach problems.Vitamins can be harmful to children & us if not taken correctly.

I hope that answers your question.

How do I teach my dog not to chew on furniture or shoes?

Teaching your dog not to chew on furniture or shoes can be done in simple steps: Provide Chew Toys: Give your dog plenty of toys designed for chewing. When they chew on these toys, praise them and give treats. Supervise: Keep an eye on your dog, especially when they're in a new place or around things they might chew. If you catch them chewing furniture or shoes, say "no" firmly. Use Bitter Spray: You can apply a pet-safe bitter spray on furniture and shoes. Dogs don't like the taste, and it can discourage chewing. Crate Training: When you can't supervise your dog, consider using a crate. Dogs usually won't chew things in their crate. Training Commands: Teach commands like "leave it" or "drop it." When your dog tries to chew something they shouldn't, use these commands, and reward them when they obey. Exercise and Play: Make sure your dog gets enough exercise and playtime. A tired dog is less likely to chew out of boredom. Positive Reinforcement: Praise and reward your dog when they make the right choices. Positive reinforcement helps them understand what's okay and what's not. Be Patient: Remember that training takes time. Be patient with your dog and consistent with your efforts. By following these simple steps, you can help your dog learn not to chew on furniture or shoes and redirect their chewing to appropriate items.

How do you stop a dog from eating underwear?

Your dog may be eating underwear because it is bored my dog went through a similar thing. Tell it off when it does it and get it some toys that you can show it is ok to chew. This worked for me because my dog needed something to entertain it when i wasnt around. Failing that putting some pepper powder on a pair of undies might also help deter it from trying it again. In the end your dog only wants to please you so if it is given a more acceptable chew toy it will probably use it.

How do you get your dog to play with toys?

We'll it depends on how old your dog is. If your dog is still a puppy (younger then 2 year of age) then he will more interested in toys, bones, etc. If your dog is older (2+ years) he/she will not be as interested. Try different toys and mix things around as opposed to one toy everytime it gets boring!! (think of it as yourself...dogs imitate humans in many ways)

How much are gerbils supposed to chew?

There is no set amount of time that gerbils need to chew but they do have to have chew toys available all the time otherwise there teeth will grow too much. They should have a variety of chew toys. You can buy shop chew toys made out of wood usually or you can use things around the house like paper (not newspaper) loo roll tubes and toilet paper. You can also use branches of wood like fruit tree branches but nothing with thrones. Make sure there is always something to chew on because gerbils can totally chew up a loo roll within hours.
