Yes they can.
Answer
On October 4th 1997, biologists traveled on board the Super Fish, from San Francisco to the Farallon Islands on a routine whale watching expedition. Spectacular events, left them astonished, and baffled, at the event which had unfolded in front of them.
Killer whales had not been observed so close to the islands, and had only ever been monitored 5 - 8 km away. On this particular day, they were being observed feeding on Californian seals, next to the islands, when a large great white shark swam past the boat. To their amazement, biologists on board, watched as one of the killer whales actively swam towards the shark, struck, and disappeared into the depths.
Minutes later the killer whale surfaced, with the great white shark dead in its mouth.
Flocks of gulls were feeding on pieces of the shark, whilst killer whales ate the sharks liver which had been torn from the carcass. October is the main season for Great White Sharks, after the event which took place, 100's of great white sharks mysteriously disappeared from the waters around the islands.
Events unfolded again on November 19th 2000, when another pod of killer whales came to the Farallon Islands. Biologists arrived on scene, this time after another great white had been killed by killer whales. On this occasion, one of the sharks in the area had a radio tag, which proved to be vital, giving information on where 100's of great white sharks, mysteriously disappeared to. Using satellite technology, biologists discovered that even though 100's of great whites, can be in the waters around the Farallon Islands in the month of October, they would rather travel through miles and miles of ocean, to Hawaiian waters, than stick around a pod of Killer whales. Biologists conclude that the great white sharks natural predator, is indeed the killer whale.

When Orca ate Jaws, shown on the National Geographic channel, on 13th August 2010.
Yes. Though they rarely hunt sharks as prey, orcas will kill a shark in self-defense or in the defense of its offspring.
Orcas have been known to flip great white sharks upside down, causing a state of tonic immobility which can lead to the shark's eventual death. Additionally, orcas have also been observed ramming into great white sharks with their heads or flippers, causing fatal injuries.
yes they can or tiger sharks eat baby orcas anyways
Yes, of course orcas are more powerful than sharks. That is one reason why orcas are called killer whales. Orcas are bigger, faster, smarter and stronger than sharks. Sharks are amazing killing machines though, but they are easy meals for orcas to eat!
Orcas have often been seen killing sharks by biting and eating them. The tactic you describe has been seen used by dolphins, but not Orca.
no! orcas are larger than most sharks some sharks are bigger like great white sharks, basking sharks, whale sharks and megamouth sharks
Dolphins, other sharks, probaly some whales, crocodiles, hippos, and humans can.
Yes, orcas do eat sharks. They are known to prey on a variety of marine animals, including sharks, as part of their diet.
yes! orcas and megamouth sharks do live in the same place
